Senior Water Resources Engineer

Position Summary McCormick Taylor has an immediate opening for a Senior Water Resources Engineer to join our growing Water Resources Department. This position is an opportunity to work on, manage and supervise complex stormwater management/roadway drainage design projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare drainage and stormwater management designs and plans.
• Collaborate with our design team, environmental staff and regulatory agencies to support the delivery and permitting for various projects
• Provide mentoring and oversight to junior staff
• Communicate with clients and regulatory agencies
• Active involvement with the development of technical and cost proposals
• Assign tasks to, coordinates work, and mentors supporting staff
• Provide QA/QC of work for technical accuracy

Job Requirements

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in hydrology and hydraulics engineering, stormwater management, and erosion and sediment control design
• BS degree in civil engineering, or closely related
• Licensed Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania
• DOT Stormwater design and permitting experience preferred
• Proficient in hydrologic and hydraulic calculation methods
• Experience using Microstation or AutoCAD
• Strong communication and technical writing skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Suit e
