Senior Web Automation QA Engineer

A large-scale consumer application with millions of active users requires a robust web testing strategy to ensure stability, reliability, and a seamless user experience. The project focuses on building and expanding a scalable web test automation suite, improving test coverage, and integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines. The goal is to establish sustainable automation processes that minimize manual effort and support continuous product development

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated web tests using Playwright
• Help build and expand the web automation test suite
• Collaborate with engineers to implement automated testing workflows and improve test coverage
• Support the integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Leverage AI-powered tools and agents to improve test automation efficiency
• Help create a maintainable, scalable automation solution that minimizes ongoing manual effort
• Work closely with engineering team to identify testing needs, troubleshoot issues, and adapt to evolving project requirements

Skills Required

• Hands-on experience with Playwright for web test automation
• Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript for test automation
• Strong understanding of web testing principles and automation practices
• Experience developing and maintaining automated test suites
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing workflows
• Understanding of AI-powered development tools and agents
• Ability to work independently, collaborate effectively, and proactively
• Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, adaptability, and openness to feedback
• Good English communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience building test automation frameworks from scratch
• Experience integrating AI tools or agents into test automation workflows
• Experience improving test automation maintainability and reducing manual engineering effort
