Senior Web Developer

We are looking for a Web developer who can own website builds end to end, from structure and CMS architecture through to launch, handover, and ongoing optimisation. You will work across Webflow, WordPress and other CMS platforms, and Shopify, delivering marketing websites, brand sites, and ecommerce stores for Australian clients. You will collaborate closely with our design, brand, and client teams, and you will often be the technical voice in client conversations, so clear communication matters as much as clean builds.

What You Will Do:

• Build and launch responsive, high performance websites in Webflow, including CMS collections, interactions, and animations
• Develop and maintain WordPress and other CMS based sites, including theme customisation and plugin configuration.
• Set up and customise Shopify stores, including themes, Liquid templating, product architecture, payments, and shipping configuration.
• Translate Figma and design files into pixel accurate, mobile first builds.
• Implement on page SEO fundamentals: site structure, metadata, schema, page speed, and Core Web Vitals.
• Connect third party tools and integrations such as forms, CRMs, email marketing, analytics, and booking systems.
• Manage domains, DNS, hosting, staging environments, and clean production launches.
• Own quality assurance across browsers and devices before anything goes to a client.
• Scope work, estimate timelines, and communicate progress clearly to internal teams and clients.
• Mentor junior developers as the team grows and help set our build standards and documentation.

What We Are Looking For

• Five or more years of professional web development experience, with at least two years of hands on Webflow work and live sites you can show us Strong Shopify experience, including theme development and Liquid .
• Solid command of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript beyond what visual builders provide.
• Experience with WordPress and comfort picking up new CMS platforms quickly .
• A sharp eye for design detail, typography, spacing, and finish.
• Working knowledge of technical SEO and site performance optimisation.
• Excellent written and spoken English and confidence communicating directly with clients.
• A portfolio of live websites you have built and can walk us through.
