The Role

Ever Point Designs is hiring a Senior Web Developer to build and maintain websites that support clients’ marketing activities. You will take responsibility for website builds, improve site performance, and work with the marketing team to ensure that forms, analytics, and landing pages function as intended.

The work covers both development and ongoing maintenance. You’ll need to be comfortable solving technical problems, reviewing code, and explaining development decisions to colleagues who may not have a technical background.

What You’ll Work On

• Build and maintain business websites, landing pages, and online stores for clients.

• Develop website features using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, , and relevant platforms.

• Configure forms, analytics, and tracking so campaign activity and website conversions can be measured accurately.

• Improve page loading speed, mobile usability, and technical SEO elements on existing websites.

• Maintain and update websites and e-commerce platforms such as WooCommerce or Shopify.

• Review code and website changes submitted by other developers, checking functionality and consistency.

• Coordinate website updates with the marketing team to ensure pages support campaign requirements.

• Investigate website errors, broken forms, tracking issues, and performance problems.

• Keep development work organised and provide clear updates on progress, outstanding issues, and delivery timelines.

Skills and Experience

• Several years of professional web development experience.

• Strong working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and .

• Experience building and maintaining websites.

• Familiarity with WooCommerce, Shopify, or another e-commerce platform.

• Working knowledge of website analytics, conversion tracking, and technical SEO.

• Experience improving website speed, responsive layouts, and overall site functionality.

• The ability to review code, troubleshoot technical issues, and maintain existing websites.

• Clear communication skills when working with marketers, clients, and other developers.

• Good judgement when prioritising tasks and addressing technical problems.
