Senior Web Developer - WordPress & PHP

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, maintain, and troubleshoot WordPress websites using PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.

• Develop and manage multiple corporate websites for B2B and B2C businesses across different industries.

• Build and maintain e-commerce, dynamic, customized, static, corporate, and database-driven websites.

• Handle WordPress theme and plugin development, customization, and integration.

• Manage website hosting, server configuration, DNS, domains, SSL certificates, FTP/SFTP, email configuration, and backups.

• Work with hosting control panels such as cPanel, Plesk, or similar platforms.

• Diagnose and resolve website downtime, server errors, PHP errors, database issues, and hosting-related problems.

• Identify and resolve website spam, malware, hacking attempts, malicious code, and unwanted redirects.

• Perform website and server migrations, including backup restoration and domain/hosting configuration.

• Monitor and optimize website performance, loading speed, uptime, and server resource utilization.

• Implement website security measures, updates, malware prevention, and regular maintenance.

• Troubleshoot Apache/Nginx, PHP versions, MySQL, SSL, DNS, and server-level configuration issues.

• Coordinate with hosting providers to resolve server-related technical issues and escalations.

• Independently manage multiple websites and handle technical issues efficiently.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of WordPress and PHP.

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Good understanding of MySQL and database management.

• Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development.

• Knowledge of website hosting and server management.

• Hands-on experience with cPanel, Plesk, or similar hosting control panels.

• Understanding of DNS, domain management, SSL certificates, and FTP/SFTP.

• Experience in website migration, backup, and restoration.

• Knowledge of website security, malware removal, spam resolution, and troubleshooting.

• Understanding of Apache/Nginx and PHP configuration.

• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
