Senior Wind Tower Structural Engineer

A leading global wind turbine OEM is seeking a Senior Engineer to support tower design and structural analysis. The role focuses on segmented/steel tower structures, reviewing designs, validating calculations, and collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate tower structural designs, including segmented or modular steel towers
• Conduct structural calculations, stress and fatigue analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, manufacturing, suppliers)
• Support prototype testing, assembly, and commissioning reviews
• Identify design risks and propose mitigations

Requirement

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil/Structural/Mechanical Engineerin
• 5+ years of experience in wind turbine tower design or heavy structural steel project
• Familiarity with tower segment fabrication, welding, and bolted connection
• Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., ANSYS, SAP2000, Tekla, MATLAB
• Strong problem-solving skills; English working proficiency preferre
