Senior/Lead Full Stack Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior / Lead Full Stack Developer to drive technical architecture, guide software engineering efforts, and mentor a high-performing team. In this role, you will lead full-stack web initiatives while collaborating across engineering, product, and design teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of full-stack developers. Conduct code reviews, establish best practices, and drive project execution.
• Full-Stack Architecture & Development: Architect and deliver scalable frontend (React/TypeScript) and backend/CMS integrations (Adobe CMS, REST APIs, Microservices).
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers and designers using Jira, monday.com, and Microsoft Teams. Work alongside UI/UX teams to translate Figma designs into working software without needing to be a visual designer yourself.
• Agile Delivery & Quality: Work within Agile/Scrum workflows. Ensure high code quality through modern automated testing and standard CI/CD deployment pipelines.

What We’re Looking For

• Engineering Core: Proven experience as a Senior or Lead Full Stack Developer building scalable enterprise web applications.
• Frontend Knowledge: Strong grasp of modern JavaScript frameworks, ideally React (or equivalent modern frameworks like Vue/Angular). General working knowledge of design-to-code workflows (Figma).
• Backend & CMS Knowledge: Deep background in backend development (Node.js, Java, Spring Boot, etc.) and database management. Prior experience with enterprise CMS platforms like Adobe AEM is preferred, but equivalent enterprise CMS experience is welcome.
• Team Leadership: Experience managing, mentoring, or technically leading engineering teams.
• Workflow & Process: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices and collaboration tools (Jira, monday.com, MS Teams).

Qualifications

• 6+ years of full-stack software development experience.
• 2+ years of technical lead or team management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Pay: From $80.00 per hour

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Nashville, TN
