Senior/Network Engineer (Large Enterprise, Perm)

Overview

Our client is a well-established corporate in Hong Kong and they are seeking a Senior / Network Engineer to support and maintain the network infrastructure of a sizeable corporation. The successful candidate will help ensure stable, secure and reliable network operations while supporting ongoing infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Support, maintain and troubleshoot corporate network infrastructure, including routers, switches, Wi-Fi, firewalls and related network devices.
• Monitor network performance and availability, investigate incidents and resolve connectivity issues.
• Perform network configuration, upgrades, maintenance and security enhancements.
• Participate in network implementation and infrastructure enhancement projects.
• Work closely with internal IT teams, business users and external vendors to resolve technical issues and deliver network services.
• Maintain network documentation, including configuration records, network diagrams and operational procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 4 years of relevant network engineering or network support experience within a sizeable corporation.
• Hands-on experience supporting and troubleshooting routers, switches, wireless networks and firewalls.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to manage network incidents and day-to-day operational issues.
• Good communication and coordination skills, with a proactive and service-oriented approach.
• A valid CCNP, CCNA, Fortinet or other relevant networking certification is required.
• Fluent in English and Chinese, including Cantonese and Mandarin.
• Candidates with more extensive relevant experience will be considered for the Senior Network Engineer position.
