Senior/Occupational Therapist

About the role

Join the dynamic team at Singapore General Hospital as an Occupational Therapist. In this full-time role, you will play a pivotal part in providing exceptional rehabilitative care to our patients. You will also work closely with our multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to develop and implement tailored treatment plans that help our patients regain their independence and quality of life.

What you'll be doing

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patients' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs
• Design and deliver individualised occupational therapy interventions to aid in the recovery and rehabilitation of patients
• Collaborate with the wider healthcare team to set and achieve measurable goals for patient progress
• Provide education and training to patients and their families to promote self-care and independent living skills
• Maintain detailed patient records and documentation in accordance with hospital policies and procedures
• Participate in continuous professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest industry practices and technologies

What we're looking for

• Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC).
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting
• Strong clinical assessment and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients and the multidisciplinary team
• Passionate about improving patient outcomes and promoting independence
• Proficient in the use of relevant occupational therapy equipment and assistive devices
