Senior/Process Engineer

(1) Process Control

• Real time monitoring & analyzing of SPC charts including troubleshooting cases of non-conformance • Work with production & maintenance to analyze lots on hold immediately & optimize overall process cycle times by removing redundant process steps

• Monitoring of Data trend for in process specifications using SAP, PDA and other tools

(2) Real Time Manufacturing Support

• Analyze real time problems, study & implement corrective actions

• Improve and Implement as when required tools to support production processes, process specifications, procedures & TPM

• Analyze production problems & determine solutions through liaising with all parties involved & through studying past cases

• Provide guidance & work hand-in-hand with Equipment Engineering Team in machine issues

• Investigate customer claims and support our frontline in root cause finding as well as new development new solution for our products.

(3) Process Setup

• Assist team to set-up new processes for new products/machines

• Study robustness of existing processes & introduce best fact-based process

• Execute, maintain and champion PFMEA on all critical processes

(4) Process Transfer

• Ensure all processes transferred from different sites are well documented, evaluated, qualified & matched with existing environment

• Provide technical support on process quality or process standardization for product/process industrialization

• Lias with head quarter for continuous improvement of processes

(5) Promote Lean Culture

• Facilitate and Involve in LEAN Projects

(6) Training & Development

• Provide Technical training to Technicians on current & new processes

• Training of new engineering assistants & imparting technical knowledge to them

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Material Science / Material Engineering / Mechanical Engineering preferred

• At least 4 years of experience as a Process Engineer

• Possess good communication skills and able to communicate with all levels of people

• Good team player, capable to organize and facilitate team activities

• Possess strong interpersonal skills

• Self-motivated to learn metal processing technology, precision engineering

• A self-starter & able to work independently with minimal supervision in a challenging environment

• Committed to work at long & odd hours

• Knowledge of non ferrous metal processing is essential (Stamping, rolling, annealing and slitting )

• Possess sound decision making, analytical and critical thinking skills

• Technical expertise on shop floor to make timely decisions to resolve engineering problems quickly & to ensure minimized low risk of losing yield & quality problem

• Must be proficient in English (Spoken and written)

• Knowledge of either Chinese or German will be an added advantage (Spoken)

• Problem solving methodology - SPC tools, DOE, FMEA & LEAN techniques

• Basic skill in SAP (Material management)
