Senior/Staff Software Engineer (Front End)

• Abridge is looking for experienced Front End Engineers to join our growing team! You’ll play a key role in our technology decisions and implementation, and you’ll see firsthand the impact that we’re making on healthcare
• You’ll build and support functionality primarily in React but also across our APIs and other TypeScript codebases
• As a growing startup at the edge of this wave of AI, you’ll have opportunities to work across our stack and help develop best practices as our industry continues to shift
• Scale up our business by designing, building, and supporting easy-to-use React/Typescript applications
• Set standards for accessibility and design system use
• Make and implement technology decisions that support business needs without compromising security, privacy, or quality
• Enhance existing systems to add new functionality, and to improve performance, stability, quality, and security
• Advocate for high standards; make quality-of-life improvements to the codebase; and help limit the growth of technical debt
• Build deep user empathy and maintain a user-centric mindset
• Communicate regularly and effectively within and on behalf of our cross-functional product delivery teams. You’ll work with other disciplines including design, product, machine learning, and infrastructure, and will have opportunities to learn from and contribute to projects across the company
• Mentor and learn from other engineers

• 7+ years’ experience building, shipping, and supporting web applications, including 5+ years of experience with React. You’ve seen what works, and what didn’t
• Willingness to pitch in wherever needed - as a fast-moving startup we need to do good work, quickly
• Have independently worked and delivered a small web app or entire feature in a larger web app
