Senior Architectural Draftsman

We are looking for an experienced Senior Architectural Draftsman with strong hands-on experience in large-scale construction projects to join our technical team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed Architectural Shop Drawings, Construction Drawings and As-Built Drawings.
• Develop plans, elevations, sections, details, finishes, doors, windows, ceilings, partitions and other architectural details.
• Review IFC drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Coordinate architectural drawings with Structural, MEP and ELV disciplines.
• Identify discrepancies and coordination issues and assist in resolving them.
• Prepare drawings for consultant submission, review and approval.
• Incorporate consultant comments and manage drawing revisions.
• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, consultants and subcontractors.
• Prepare accurate as-built drawings based on actual site conditions.
• Review and guide the work of junior draftsmen when required.

Requirements

• 8–12+ years of relevant experience in architectural drafting.
• Proven experience in large-scale construction projects.
• Strong UAE/GCC construction experience is preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD and architectural construction detailing.
• Revit/BIM experience is highly preferred.
• Strong ability to read and interpret IFC drawings, specifications and architectural details.
• Good understanding of architectural materials, construction methods and site execution.
• Strong multidisciplinary coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and under project deadlines.
• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Architecture / Architectural Engineering.

Preferred Project Experience

Experience in high-rise buildings, large residential developments, commercial buildings, hotels, mixed-use developments or major master developments will be highly valued.

Important: Candidates should have genuine hands-on experience producing construction-ready architectural drawings for major projects. Candidates with only basic AutoCAD drafting or small residential project experience will not be considered.

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED13,000.00 per hour
