SEO & AEO Optimizer (Answer Engine Optimization) Specialist / Senior

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Communication

• Lead kickoff meetings with clients to gather business information, target audience, and competitor insights
• Present audit findings and 90-day plans in a way clients can clearly understand
• Deliver monthly reports and explain what changes in the numbers actually mean
• Serve as the client's main point of contact for any questions about ongoing work

Technical & On-Site Optimization

• Verify that AI crawlers/bots can access client websites; fix issues with rendering, robots.txt, sitemaps, and llms.txt
• Implement structured data appropriate to each business type (Organization, Product, FAQ, Article, etc.)
• Ensure consistent business information across all platforms AI systems reference, including Google Business Profile and Wikidata
• Resolve cases where AI systems confuse a client's brand with similarly named companies
• Set up full tracking from week one, including GA4, Search Console, and lead-capture channels feeding into the CRM

Content & Off-Site Work

• Plan content topics based on gaps identified through data, not assumptions
• Draft content using our internal AI tools, then edit and refine for accuracy and readability
• Review all content before publishing to ensure compliance with OCPB (Office of the Consumer Protection Board) advertising standards
• Apply for and maintain client profiles on directories referenced by AI systems (e.g., Clutch, GoodFirms)
• Reach out to websites and media outlets frequently cited by AI systems to secure brand mentions for clients

Measurement & Reporting

• Run scheduled test queries across Google AI Overviews, Gemini, ChatGPT, and Perplexity, and document results with screenshots
• Analyze data from Ahrefs and Search Console to identify what's working and what isn't
• Keep client reporting portals updated and accurate at all times

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• At least 2 years of SEO experience, with hands-on technical SEO work — not just directing others

• Able to read HTML, edit meta tags and structured data yourself, and understand how JavaScript rendering affects how bots crawl a site

• Confident using Google Search Console and tools like Ahrefs or Semrush

• Able to explain technical topics clearly to non-technical people, since you'll be speaking directly with business owners

• Strong Thai writing skills — good enough to review and edit others' writing — plus the ability to read English documents

• Comfortable using AI as a daily working tool, not just something you've tried a few times

• Prior experience in AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) or GEO (Generative Engine Optimization), or self-driven experiments with results to show

• Experience managing multiple agency clients at the same time

• Working-level SQL or Python skills, or experience connecting to APIs yourself

• Experience with WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, or Next.js

• Published Thai-language writing you can share
