SEO Content Writer

About the role

Join one of Australia's top 3% Google Ad agencies as an SEO Content Writer. You'll be working closely with our SEO and PPC teams to deliver content that makes an impact across multiple marketing channels, crafting compelling content for a range of industries like health & wellness, e-commerce, trade, tourism, and more.

Key responsibilities

• Create a wide variety of content, including SEO-optimised blog posts, web copy, newsletters, and social media copy to drive traffic, generate leads, and support client growth
• Write, edit, and proofread content, ensuring every piece is high-quality and on-brand
• Manage and execute client content calendars, ensuring consistent and timely content delivery that aligns with their growth plans
• Conduct research on competitors and audience behaviour to create relevant and effective content
• Work closely with SEO and PPC teams to ensure content aligns with marketing goals and brand guidelines

About you

• 2+ years of experience as a content writer or copywriter, creating content across various marketing channels and digital platforms, with a strong focus on SEO content
• A solid understanding of SEO, keyword research, and content optimisation strategies
• Excellent research skills and attention to detail, including fact-checking content for accuracy
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Proven track record of managing multiple projects within deadlines
• A Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (nice to have)
