Job Overview

Cambridge Middle East is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented SEO Content Writer Intern to develop informative, engaging, and search-engine-friendly content for our company website.

The intern will research, write, edit, and optimize content that communicates CME's services clearly, supports online visibility, and reaches students, professionals, educational partners, and corporate clients.

Working remotely, the successful candidate will collaborate with the Web Developer and Graphic Designer to ensure that website content is accurate, well-structured, visually aligned, and optimized for search engines.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and write website pages describing CME's services and programs.
• Develop content related to international education consultancy, English and German language training, exam preparation, and corporate training.
• Conduct keyword research and identify relevant content opportunities.
• Apply on-page SEO principles, including headings, meta titles, meta descriptions, internal links, and keyword placement.
• Write blog articles, FAQs, educational resources, and service descriptions.
• Edit and proofread content for grammar, accuracy, readability, and consistency.
• Collaborate with the Web Developer to organize and integrate website content.
• Coordinate with the Graphic Designer to align content with page layouts and visual elements.
• Review and improve published content according to SEO best practices.
• Track assigned tasks, participate in virtual meetings, and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Excellent written English, grammar, spelling, and editing skills.
• Strong research skills and the ability to communicate information clearly.
• Basic understanding of SEO, keyword research, and website content optimization.
• Familiarity with WordPress, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, or keyword research tools is an advantage.
• Ability to write clear and engaging content for different audiences.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote environment.
• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Digital Marketing, or a related program is preferred.
• Writing samples, blog articles, or a content portfolio are an advantage.
