About the Role

Muzconnect is looking for a results-driven SEO Expert to manage and grow the organic search performance of our website projects. We need someone who understands SEO beyond rankings and can independently execute strategies that improve search visibility, organic traffic, qualified leads, and overall website performance.

SEO is evolving rapidly with AI-powered search, generative search experiences, and changing user behavior. We value professionals who have strong fundamentals in traditional SEO and are actively adapting to Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), and AI-driven search.

You will take ownership of assigned websites, develop and implement SEO strategies, identify growth opportunities, and work closely with our content writers, designers, and developers to turn recommendations into measurable results.

We are looking for someone who can execute, analyze, solve problems, and deliver results — not someone who only prepares reports or provides recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

• SEO Strategy & Ownership: Take responsibility for assigned websites, develop actionable SEO roadmaps, prioritize tasks, and execute strategies aligned with business goals.
• On-Page SEO: Optimize page titles, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, internal linking, content structure, image optimization, and search intent alignment.
• Technical SEO: Conduct technical audits and resolve or coordinate fixes for crawling, indexing, canonicalization, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, redirects, structured data, Core Web Vitals, and other technical issues.
• Off-Page SEO & Link Building: Plan and execute ethical link-building campaigns, acquire relevant backlinks, analyze backlink profiles, and improve website authority.
• Content SEO: Collaborate with content writers to develop content strategies, topical maps, keyword clusters, content briefs, and optimization plans based on search intent and business opportunities.
• GEO, AEO & AI Search: Explore and implement strategies to improve visibility across AI-powered search experiences, generative search engines, answer engines, and relevant emerging discovery platforms.
• Keyword Research & Competitor Analysis: Identify valuable keywords, assess search intent, analyze competitors, and uncover opportunities to increase organic visibility and conversions.
• Performance Monitoring: Track keyword performance, organic traffic, clicks, impressions, indexing, conversions, and other KPIs using analytics and search performance tools.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with designers, developers, and content writers to ensure SEO requirements are incorporated into website structure, user experience, content, and technical implementation.
• Reporting & Continuous Improvement: Analyze performance data, identify bottlenecks, test improvements, and refine strategies based on results.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven hands-on experience in SEO with practical examples of websites you have optimized.
• Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
• Practical experience with keyword research, search intent analysis, competitor research, content optimization, and link building.
• Hands-on experience with Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Bing Webmaster Tools, Screaming Frog SEO Spider, and Google PageSpeed Insights.
• Familiarity with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, or equivalent platforms.
• Understanding of website indexing, crawling, structured data, schema markup, Core Web Vitals, and technical SEO audits.
• Ability to work with WordPress websites and coordinate SEO-related changes with developers.
• Understanding of GEO, AEO, AI-powered search, and the evolving search landscape.
• Ability to interpret data, prioritize tasks, and translate SEO insights into practical actions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• A results-oriented mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple website projects.

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
