Job Title: SEO Intern

Duration: 4-6 Months

Job Description:
We are looking for an SEO Intern with basic knowledge of search engine optimization to support our digital marketing team. The candidate will assist in improving website rankings, increasing organic traffic, and building backlinks for our school websites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Keyword research for school and education-related keywords
• On-page SEO implementation (meta titles, descriptions, headings, internal linking)
• Blog optimization and content support
• Create referring domains and build backlinks for education sector websites
• Directory submissions and outreach for backlink opportunities
• Monitor website performance using Google Analytics and Google Search Console
• Competitor analysis and keyword tracking
• Support technical SEO audits and basic fixes

Requirements:

• Basic understanding of SEO concepts
• Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs (preferred)
• Good understanding of keyword research and link building
• Basic knowledge of HTML and website structure is a plus
• Strong communication and analytical skills

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of SEO for education or school websites
• Understanding of backlinks and referring domains
• Basic content writing skills for blogs
