SEO Intern (Sector-34-Gurgaon)

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented SEO, SMO & AEO Intern who is eager to learn and work on

real-world digital marketing projects. The candidate will support efforts to improve website visibility, organic

search rankings, social media engagement, and brand presence across AI-powered search platforms.

This role is ideal for someone interested in how traditional SEO is evolving with Answer Engine Optimization

(AEO), Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), and AI-driven search experiences.

Key Responsibilities

1. Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

 Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis.

 Assist with on-page SEO, including title tags, meta descriptions, headings, internal linking, and URL

optimization.

 Support technical SEO audits, website indexing, crawling, and broken-link identification.

 Optimize website pages, blogs, and landing pages for relevant keywords.

 Monitor organic traffic, keyword rankings, and website performance using Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4.

2. Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) & AI Search

 Research questions and search queries relevant to our products, services, and target audience.

 Optimize website content to answer user queries clearly and accurately.

 Assist in creating FAQs, structured content, and schema markup recommendations.

 Explore brand visibility across AI-powered search platforms such as ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, and Perplexity.

 Support content optimization for featured snippets, voice search, and conversational queries.

 Research emerging GEO strategies to improve brand discoverability in generative AI search results.

3. Generative AI

 Assist in writing and optimizing AEO-friendly snipped and AEO Result content.

 Conduct content gap analysis and identify new keyword opportunities in AEO .

 Prepare AEO performance reports and track campaign progress.

 Stay updated on search engine algorithm changes, AI search trends, and digital marketing best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

 Basic understanding of SEO, SMO, and digital marketing concepts.

 Familiarity with keyword research and content optimization.

 knowledge of Google Search Console and Google Analytics is an advantage.

 Good written communication and research skills.

 Interest in AI search, AEO, GEO, and emerging digital marketing technologies.

 Familiarity with WordPress, SEO AEO tools such as Semrush, Ahrefs, or Ubersuggest is a plus.

 Willingness to learn, experiment, analyze data, and work independently in little guidance .
