Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented SEO Intern who is passionate about search engine optimization and digital growth strategies. The selected candidate will work on live client projects and gain hands-on exposure to real-time SEO implementation in an agency environment.

This role demands discipline, analytical thinking, and a willingness to learn fast in a performance-driven setup.

Key Responsibilities

1. Keyword Research & Strategy

• Conduct keyword research using industry tools
• Identify search intent and competitor gaps
• Assist in building keyword mapping documents

2. On-Page SEO

• Optimize meta titles, descriptions, headers, and content
• Implement internal linking strategies
• Optimize images and URL structures

3. Technical SEO Support

• Assist in website audits
• Identify crawl errors and indexing issues
• Work with developers for basic SEO fixes

4. Off-Page SEO

• Support backlink building strategies
• Directory submissions and outreach activities
• Monitor backlink profilies

5. Reporting & Performance Tracking

• Monitor website traffic and keyword rankings
• Assist in preparing weekly and monthly SEO reports
• Track KPIs and improvement metrics

Eligibility Criteria (Mandatory)

• Bachelor’s Degree is Mandatory (BBA / BCom / BSc / BA / MBA or equivalent)
• Strong interest in SEO & Digital Marketing
• Basic understanding of search engines and ranking factors
• Good analytical skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets
• Strong written communication skills

Preferred

• SkillsBasic knowledge of Wordpress
• Familiarity with Google Analytics & Search Console
• Understanding of content marketing principles
• Ability to work in a fast-paced agency environment
