Location: Hyderabad, Onsite
Experience: 5-6 years

What you'll own

Manage crawling and indexation at scale, including crawl budget, index bloat, parameter and pagination handling, orphan pages, and near-duplicate URLs generated by a large WordPress site. Diagnose issues using server log analysis and Search Console crawl statistics.

Identify and resolve JavaScript rendering issues, with a clear understanding of what Googlebot and LLM crawlers each receive. Own Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP and CLS), including caching, CDN behaviour and render-blocking assets, working directly with the development team.

Implement, validate and monitor structured data to maintain rich-result eligibility.

Own internationalisation: hreflang across region variants, correct x-default, canonical strategy across near-duplicate regional pages, and the crawl implications of geo-based routing and redirects.

Manage redirects and migrations, including chain and loop cleanup, redirect mapping, and pre- and post-launch QA. Maintain WordPress at scale: templates, plugin hygiene, Rank Math or Yoast, custom-field-driven page types, controlled bulk edits, staging discipline, and sitemap and llms.txt hygiene.

Own the keyword universe: research, clustering by intent, an explicit keyword-to-URL map, and a cannibalisation process that results in resolved pages.

Own information architecture and internal linking, including hub-and-spoke clusters, equity flow to commercial pages, and anchor text at scale. Design templated page systems — glossary, free tools, comparisons and category listicles — so that they scale without becoming thin.

Produce content briefs that writers can execute directly, manage title and meta systems at scale, and run a content refresh programme that determines whether pages are refreshed, consolidated, redirected or removed, and measures the outcome.

Own SERP feature strategy, and work with demand generation on page intent, CTA placement and trial or form flow so that rankings translate into demo requests.

Own the authority strategy, defining which pages require links, of what type, at what velocity and in which market. Manage and develop the Off-Page SEO Executive, including decisions on paid placements.

Direct digital PR and linkable asset development, set the review-platform and roundup strategy for the US and India, and manage any external agency support.

Own Keka's visibility across AI search and LLM-generated answers, including Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Copilot. Develop the strategy to increase Keka's visibility, mentions and citations across priority commercial and informational queries.

Build and maintain a standardised LLM prompt set across priority markets, topics and product categories. Monitor performance regularly, including Keka's presence in AI answers, mentions, citation rate, cited sources, competitor presence, position/prominence within answers and AI share of voice.

Identify LLM citation gaps and develop strategies to close them. Analyse which sources AI systems rely on for priority queries, where competitors are being cited but Keka is not, and identify opportunities across Keka's own content, digital PR, backlinks, review platforms, third-party publications and other authoritative sources to increase citations.

Analyse why Keka is or isn't being surfaced or cited by AI systems and translate these findings into actionable changes across content structure, answer-first formatting, entity signals, internal linking, structured data, sourceable statistics, clean tables and external authority.

Own the measurement and reporting of LLM/GEO performance, establishing baselines and targets for AI visibility, citations, mentions, share of voice, competitor presence, cited-source mix and AI referral traffic. Track changes over time and communicate performance and learnings to leadership.

Own brand entity and knowledge-graph accuracy, ensuring that information about Keka, its products, positioning and expertise is accurate and consistent across Keka's website and authoritative third-party sources.

Use Search Console and GA4 at a practitioner level, including API extracts, custom reports, correct channel and source definitions, and an understanding of GA4's sampling, cardinality and thresholding limitations.

Maintain rank tracking and share of voice by market, with brand and non-brand traffic segmented separately.

Build a forecast from traffic to conversion to pipeline with documented assumptions, work with marketing operations to attribute organic traffic to MQL, SQL and pipeline, and maintain a single reporting dashboard for leadership.

What you need to have

Minimum 5–6 years in SEO, with clear ownership of strategy, prioritisation and outcomes.

Technical depth: the ability to diagnose indexing, rendering and hreflang issues independently and specify the required fix to the development team.

Content and on-page depth: the ability to build a cluster strategy, brief writers, and make page consolidation decisions.

Off-page judgment: the ability to assess link quality and value, and to evaluate risk.

Strong understanding of LLM/GEO and AI search, with hands-on experience monitoring AI visibility, analysing citations and developing strategies to increase brand mentions and citations in AI-generated answers.

Experience creating and maintaining prompt sets or other structured methodologies for measuring LLM visibility and competitor share of voice.

Fluency in Ahrefs or Semrush, Screaming Frog, Search Console and GA4.

Experience running at least one site migration or major restructure, including what did not go to plan.

A written case study with real figures: baseline, timeframe, changes made, results achieved, and what you would do differently.

Nice to have

Experience in HR technology, fintech or another compliance-heavy SaaS category.

Experience with AI search/GEO platforms or tooling for tracking LLM mentions, citations, prompts and AI share of voice.

SQL, Python or Apps Script for SEO data work, and Search Console bulk export into BigQuery.

Experience with log-file analysis tooling.

Agency or vendor budget ownership, or prior direct reports.

Experience with product-led growth: free tools, self-serve trials, and SEO that supports activation rather than demo requests alone.
