SEO Manager

About the Role

The SEO Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and scaling organic growth strategies for multiple client projects. This role requires deep expertise in technical SEO, semantic SEO, AI-driven search optimization, and content-led growth strategies. The ideal candidate should understand how modern search works including Google SGE, AI answer engines, and generative search experiences.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Organic Growth Strategy

• Build and execute SEO roadmaps focused on measurable organic growth.
• Identify high-impact keyword clusters and topical authority opportunities.
• Conduct competitor analysis to identify ranking and traffic gaps.
• Develop strategies to scale organic traffic and lead generation.

2. Technical SEO Leadership

• Conduct advanced technical SEO audits covering crawlability, indexing, site architecture, Core Web Vitals, and structured data.
• Work with developers to implement technical fixes.
• Optimize websites for mobile-first indexing and performance.

3. Answer Engine Optimization (AEO)

• Optimize content for featured snippets, AI answers, and voice search.
• Structure content for Google answer boxes and AI-driven results.
• Implement FAQ schema, structured data, and semantic markup.

4. Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)

• Optimize brand and content visibility for AI search engines such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Google SGE.
• Implement entity-based SEO and semantic search strategies.
• Structure content to improve AI discoverability and citation potential.

5. Content-Led SEO

• Build topic clusters and pillar content strategies.
• Guide content teams to produce search-intent driven content.
• Optimize internal linking and topical authority.

6. Authority Building

• Develop high-quality link-building and digital PR strategies.
• Monitor backlink profiles and manage domain authority growth.

7. AI-Powered SEO Workflows

• Use AI tools to improve research, content optimization, and analysis.
• Work with tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, SurferSEO, Clearscope, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog.
• Implement automation and AI-assisted workflows to improve efficiency.

8. Performance Measurement

• Track and improve key SEO metrics including organic traffic growth, keyword rankings, SERP visibility, CTR improvements, and leads or conversions from organic traffic.

Requirements

• 4 to 8 years of hands-on SEO experience.
• Strong expertise in Technical SEO.
• Deep understanding of Google algorithms and ranking factors.
• Experience with semantic SEO and topical authority strategies.
• Knowledge of Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and AI-driven search optimization.
• Hands-on experience with SEO tools and analytics platforms.
