About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on SEO Manager to lead a team of 4-5 SEO specialists for a multi-industry digital agency. You'll own the full organic SEO function - strategy, execution, and team mentorship - while working closely with content, design, and development teams, and interfacing directly with clients as needed. This role reports into the Project Manager/Director.

What You Will Do

1. Develop and implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies, ensuring best practices are integrated across teams
2. Lead and mentor a team of 4-5 SEO specialists, keeping their work aligned with business and client goals
3. Analyze website traffic and performance metrics to identify areas of improvement
4. Collaborate with content, design, and development teams to embed SEO best practices
5. Conduct technical SEO audits, including seamless use of GA4, Google Search Console, and Google Tag Manager
6. Optimize content to be high-quality, keyword-rich, and search-friendly
7. Stay current on SEO trends, algorithm updates, and tools
8. Represent SEO strategy and performance directly to clients when required

What We're Looking For

1. Minimum 4-5 years of hands-on SEO experience, with at least some of it in a team-leading/mentoring capacity (this is a hard filter)
2. Prior experience working at a digital marketing agency, managing SEO across multiple client accounts simultaneously (mandatory)
3. Strong working knowledge of GA4, Google Search Console, and Google Tag Manager
4. Comfortable being client-facing when needed, presenting performance and strategy
5. Bachelor's degree in any discipline is acceptable - no restriction on specific field
6. Google Analytics/Ads or other SEO certifications are a plus but not mandatory
