What they need
Threshold is looking for an SEO Specialist who can turn search insights into effective execution. You'll manage SEO across a portfolio of client websites, improve local visibility, and help develop our AI Optimization (AIO) services. We've built a proprietary stack of AI and automation tools for SEO and AIO, and you'll use them every day to work faster, scale smarter, and deliver better results for clients. This role requires strong technical skills, clear communication, and the ability to connect your work to business outcomes.
Employment Type: Full Time Contract
Compensation: $8.60 USD/hour (approx. $13025 ARS/hour)
What You’ll Do
- Work AI-first: Use our proprietary AI and automation tools daily for audits, keyword research, content briefs, on-page optimization, reporting, and AIO testing. Apply judgment to AI output: verify accuracy, catch errors, and make sure the work meets our quality standards before it reaches clients.
- Manage SEO execution: Own recurring SEO work across assigned accounts, prioritize opportunities, and deliver work on schedule.
- Improve technical performance: Audit websites for crawlability, indexing, redirects, broken links, duplicate content, site architecture, and page experience. Partner with developers to implement and verify fixes.
- Optimize website content: Research keywords and search intent; improve page titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal links, and landing-page copy.
- Strengthen local search visibility: Manage Google Business Profile optimization, local listings, location information, and property-level search strategies.
- Create and support content: Develop actionable briefs for writers, identify opportunities for useful content that answers prospective residents' questions, and create social media content for client properties, including captions, post copy, and simple graphics or short-form video using tools like Canva and AI-assisted workflows.
- Implement structured data: Recommend, implement, and validate appropriate schema markup.
- Improve our tools and workflows: Spot repetitive tasks that could be automated, suggest improvements to our existing tools, and share what you learn with the team. You'll help shape how our SEO department uses AI as it grows.
- Build authority: Identify relevant link-building and citation opportunities with an emphasis on quality and sustainable practices.
- Advance AIO: Help clients improve their visibility in AI-powered search through clear content, accurate business information, structured data, and testing.
- Measure results: Use GA4, Google Search Console, and SEO tools to evaluate organic traffic, local visibility, engagement, and conversions.
- Communicate clearly: Produce concise reports explaining what was completed, what changed, why it matters, and what comes next.
- Collaborate across teams: Work with Client Success, Digital, Content, and Web Development to align recommendations with client goals.
What You Bring
- At least 2 years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably in an agency or across multiple client accounts.
- Advanced professional English (C1 or higher), written and spoken. You'll write content, briefs, reports, and outreach for North American audiences and work daily with an English-speaking team.
- A strong working knowledge of technical SEO, on-page optimization, local SEO, keyword research, and content strategy.
- Experience using GA4, Google Search Console, Google Business Profile, and tools such as Screaming Frog, Semrush, or Ahrefs.
- Comfort working in website content management systems and a working understanding of HTML and structured data.
- The ability to distinguish meaningful performance changes from normal fluctuations and explain findings in plain language.
- Strong organization, and project management skills.
- A proactive approach: you identify issues, recommend solutions, and follow through.
- Strong prompting skills and a critical eye: you know how to get useful output from AI, and you know when not to trust it.
- A genuine curiosity about AI-powered search and how it's changing, with a habit of testing new approaches and grounding recommendations in evidence.
Experience That’s a Plus
- Multifamily, student housing, real estate, or other multi-location marketing.
- Managing SEO across a portfolio of property websites.
- Familiarity with property management website platforms such as Entrata, RentCafe, or Yardi
- Experience with Google Tag Manager, conversion tracking, website migrations, or SEO experimentation.
- Experience building custom GPTs, prompt libraries, or AI-assisted workflows for yourself or a team.
- Experience tracking brand visibility or citations in AI-generated answers (AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity).
What Success Looks Like
Your accounts have clear priorities, consistent execution, and accurate reporting. Technical issues are resolved, content matches search intent, and local visibility improves. Clients and teammates understand the value of your work, and your recommendations help generate leads and leases for our clients.
Working Hours
This role works on US Central Time (CT). You’ll be expected to work standard business hours, roughly 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CT, Monday through Friday, so you’re available for team meetings, client calls, and site launches alongside our team and clients across North America. SEO depends on close collaboration with our Content, Web Development, and Client Success teams, and being online during CT business hours means you can work through technical issues, review content, and support launches and migrations as they happen. Candidates outside the Central time zone are welcome to apply, but must be able to consistently work these hours.
