We are LASEO, an SEO agency from Amsterdam that does exactly one thing: organic growth. Technical SEO, content, link building and AI search under one roof, for brands like Philips, Bugaboo, Bang & Olufsen and Red Wing Shoes.

As SEO Specialist you work with senior specialists on a set of regular clients. You run technical analyses, do keyword research, write content briefs, and make sure optimizations actually go live. You get responsibility from day one, with a team around you that has your back and helps you move forward.

What makes this role fun: you learn a huge amount in a short time. You see complex international websites from the inside, you work with the best tools, and every week you hear how senior colleagues tackle a problem. And when you discover something clever yourself, you see it come back in the work for clients.

We're a team of SEO specialists, content strategists and link builders who keep each other sharp, share what we know, and celebrate wins together. Friday afternoon drinks included.

What you'll do

You're the engine behind executing SEO strategies for our clients. In practice:

• You run technical SEO analyses with Screaming Frog and Search Console, and turn findings into clear tickets for developers.
• You do keyword and competitor research to uncover new opportunities.
• You write content briefs and optimize existing pages: titles, structure, internal links and structured data.
• You monitor rankings, traffic and conversions, and flag changes early.
• You think along about your clients' strategy and bring your own ideas.
• You join client meetings and present your own part of the work.
• You experiment with AI search and help push our approach for ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews forward.
• You keep up with Google updates and SEO news, and share what you learn with the team.

What your week looks like

• Monday

Week kickoff with your team. You check your clients' numbers and see that a category page you optimized last month is now in the top 3.

• Tuesday

Technical audit. You crawl a webshop, find hundreds of pages accidentally set to noindex, and work out the fix together with your senior.

• Wednesday

Keyword research for a new market and the first content briefs for the copywriters.

• Thursday

Client meeting, where you present the results of your technical fixes yourself.

• Friday

Knowledge session with the team on the latest Google update. Then drinks.

Your first year

• Month 1

You know the tools, the way we work and your first clients. Your first optimizations are live.

• Month 3

You run independently on your clients and present your own work in client meetings.

• Month 6

You've found your own specialism, whether that's technical, content or data, and colleagues come to you with questions.

• Month 12

You take a client under your own wing and take your first steps towards Senior SEO Specialist.

What you bring

You don't need to know everything yet. But you do want to learn everything.

• At least 2 years of SEO experience, at an agency or in-house.
• You know the basics of technical SEO, content and link building, and you want to get better at all of them.
• You've worked with Search Console, GA4 and tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs or Screaming Frog.
• You're analytical: a drop in the numbers makes you curious, not nervous.
• You work accurately and keep the overview when you're handling multiple clients at once.
• You're not afraid to ask questions, and you ask for feedback yourself.
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.

Nice to have

• Experience at an SEO or digital marketing agency.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, JavaScript rendering or structured data.
• Experience with Shopify, WordPress or Magento.
• You run SEO experiments on your own website or side project.
• You follow AI search closely and have already tested how brands show up in ChatGPT.
