SEO Trainee / Intern

About Weavelinx
We're a Pune-based web development and digital marketing company. We run SEO for B2B and professional-services clients and sell WordPress plugins and themes at marketplace.weavelinx.com. You'll work directly with the founder in a small team, so you'll learn quickly and your work will be visible.

Role: SEO Trainee (paid internship, 3–6 months, on-site in Pune)
Stipend: ₹6,000–12,000/month, based on skills and performance in the selection task
After the internship: Performance-based conversion to a full-time SEO Executive role with a higher salary.

What you'll do

• Research keywords and search intent for client and Weavelinx websites
• Research topics and competitors, then draft SEO-optimised articles and pages
• Publish content on WordPress (titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal links, images)
• Support link building and off-page tasks as assigned
• Track rankings and organic traffic in Google Search Console and Google Analytics, and prepare simple monthly updates
• Follow the team's SEO process (SOP) and flag issues instead of guessing
• Bring new ideas: content angles, keyword opportunities and experiments worth testing

How we work
Our SEO runs on detailed, step-by-step SOPs, from keyword research to publishing. Some people find them demanding at first, so we give you a Claude Pro subscription. It's the only tool you need. It helps you follow the SOPs, research faster and draft better, so you can spend your time on brainstorming and improving results. You're still responsible for checking every fact and making sure the content is original.

What we're looking for

• Any graduate or final-year student. No experience needed.
• Good written English, and Hindi or Marathi for local clients
• Curiosity about how search works, and the discipline to follow a process precisely
• Comfortable with Google Docs, Sheets and basic WordPress (or willing to learn in week one)
• Comfortable working with AI tools, and careful about facts and originality

What you'll learn
On-page SEO, content strategy for B2B, Search Console and Analytics, WordPress publishing, and how SEO results are measured and reported to clients.
