Server Analyst

• Ensures the availability, performance, and reliability of servers and related services through regular monitoring and maintenance.
• Conducts daily server health checks to verify service accessibility, hardware functionality, and overall system stability.
• Performs server housekeeping to manage storage capacity, prevent unauthorized file growth, and avoid resource-related issues.
• Monitors the availability of email and anti-spam systems to ensure timely and reliable email delivery.
• Regularly tracks server utilization, including CPU, memory, and disk space, and escalates potential capacity issues before they impact operations.
• Installs, configures, tests, and deploys servers while maintaining standard server images and installation procedures.
• Troubleshoots server, hardware, email, network share, and connectivity issues, coordinating with external vendors for timely problem resolution.
• Reviews the usage of email and server resources, identifies misuse, and reports violations to management.
• Manages email systems, including user accounts, distribution lists, routing permissions, and anti-spam configurations.
• Oversees ATM deployment, testing, operating system and hardware changes, contributing to increased service availability, reduced downtime, improved customer confidence, and enhanced ATM reliability.

Qualifications:

1. Skills Requirement

1.1.  Computer Troubleshooting Skills

1.2.  Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms (Windows, UNIX, Linux, vmware, etc)

1.3.  Familiarity with ATM systems (particularly NCR ATMs)

1.4.  Service-oriented attitude

1. Educational Requirement

2.1.  College Degree

2.2.  Four (4) year Computer related course or equivalent experience

1. Working Experience

3.1.  At least three (3) years of IT work experience.

3.2.  Two (2) years System Administration of Windows and UNIX systems preferable.

3.3.  At least one (1) year Project Management Experience will be an advantage.
