Server and Back Server

Job Summary
The Waikiki Yacht Club is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server and Back Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience. As a Back Server you will be Running Food from the Kitchen to the guest's tables in a timely and accurate manner. Your role is crucial in maintaining the high standards of service that our establishment is known for.

Responsibilities

• Must be available to work Friday, Saturday, and Sundays
• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently from the kitchen as a Back Server.
• Ensure all food safety guidelines are followed during preparation and service.
• Assist with bussing tables to maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
• Build rapport with members to enhance their dining experience through excellent guest relations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests with inquiries.
• Uphold cleanliness standards in the dining area and ensure compliance with health regulations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, particularly in a restaurant or private club setting.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is highly desirable.
• Strong guest relations skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for patrons.
• Ability to operate POS systems efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required by the establishment.
