Server & Bartender

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to proper drink recipes and presentation standards
• Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning bar areas, and following food safety protocols
• Assist with food preparation and plating when necessary, supporting kitchen staff to deliver quality dishes promptly
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximize sales opportunities

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on guest relations and customer satisfaction
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for order processing and sales transactions
• Extensive cocktail experience with spirits knowledge and beverage service expertise
• Ability to manage time effectively in a busy setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with guests and team members alike
• Familiarity with food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations in the hospitality industry
• Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing tabs confidently
• Knowledge of wine varieties and upselling techniques to enhance guest experiences
• Prior host/hostess or bussing experience is beneficial for supporting overall restaurant operations

Pay: $17.13 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 25.0 per week
