Duties

• Greet guests warmly, provide menus, and offer personalized recommendations to enhance their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast POS, ensuring timely delivery
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, wines, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
• Upsell menu items and drink specials to maximize sales while maintaining excellent customer service standards
• Process cash and credit transactions efficiently, handling cash handling responsibilities with accuracy and integrity
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning bar areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Assist with food preparation when necessary and support kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
• Manage guest inquiries or concerns promptly to foster positive guest relations and ensure satisfaction
• Support opening and closing procedures for the bar and dining area, including inventory checks and restocking supplies

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is essential; fine dining or nightclub experience is highly desirable
• Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
• Strong cocktail-making skills with spirits knowledge; familiarity with wine knowledge enhances service quality
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Proven ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting through effective time management
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience in upselling beverages or menu items to increase sales revenue
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash registers confidently

Pay: $24.02 - $28.92 per hour
