Brick & Mortar is a family-run, independent, award-winning cocktail bar in the heart of Central Square. We’ve been here for more than 13 years and we think of hospitality as a practice: paying attention, reading a room, and making a stranger feel like a regular. We’re dedicated to a restaurant culture rooted in hospitality, education, and employee development.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has 2+ years of serving experience and exceptional floor skills
• Knows food, beverage, and spirits well, and loves talking about them with guests
• Communicates clearly and treats guests and teammates with the same warmth and professionalism
• Thinks and adapts quickly: multitasks, prioritizes, and moves with a sense of urgency on a full Saturday
• Is comfortable with POS systems and basic computer work
• Wants to keep growing, in cocktails, service, and the craft behind both

What you get:

• $30–$40 per hour with tips
• Full-time or part-time schedules
• Ongoing education in spirits, cocktails, and service from people who’ve built some of Central Square’s best-known rooms

Certification: TIPS or 21+ training required. If you aren’t currently certified, management will help you get certified or re-certified.

Physical demands: The physical demands for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, standing for 5 to 10 hours, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours.
