Duties

• Greet guests with a friendly, energetic demeanor, making them feel immediately welcome
• Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and answering initial questions about the menu and specials
• Take accurate beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
• Serve drinks promptly, including cocktails, spirits, , and non-alcoholic beverages, maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales revenue
• Process cash transactions accurately while handling credit card payments through POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, adhering to food safety protocols and sanitation regulations
• Assist in preparation or setup when needed, supporting bar staff during busy periods
• Engage with guests to foster positive relationships, handle inquiries professionally, and resolve any concerns promptly

Experience

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
• We train for right application without experience
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Experience in fine dining or nightlife environments (nightclub experience) is a plus
• Knowledge of wine service, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage handling enhances your suitability for this role
• Strong time management skills to efficiently serve multiple tables during peak hours
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that creates a welcoming atmosphere
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
• Understanding of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
