Server – AQUI

KJs Hospitality Corp. is hiring a Server for AQUI, a fine-casual Spanish tapas bar located inside J Studio, an art gallery at YMC Place in Makati. AQUI opens this October, and we are looking for an experienced Server to join our opening team. As part of a small crew, you will play a key role in delivering the level of service we want AQUI to be known for from the start.

Location: J Studio, Unit A, Bldg B, YMC Place, 2320 Chino Roces Avenue, Makati City

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Greet and seat guests, present the menu, and take food and beverage orders accurately.

Guide guests through the tapas menu, and provide recommendations and upsell food, wine, and cocktails where appropriate.

Coordinate with the bar and kitchen to ensure timely service.

Handle opening and closing duties, including table setup, side stations, and breakdown.

Process bills and payments through the POS.

Address guest concerns professionally and escalate to management when necessary.

Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the dining area at all times.

Assist with food running, bussing, and other floor duties as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1.) Minimum 1 year of experience as a Server in a premium casual restaurant or premium bar (required).

2.) Good knowledge of table service standards and service sequence.

3.) Working knowledge of wine, cocktails, and spirits is an advantage.

4.) Good communication skills and a pleasant, professional demeanor.

5.) Able to work well under pressure during peak hours.

6.) Comfortable working in a small, lean team.

7.) Willing to work evening shifts, Tuesday to Saturday.

8.) Must be able to start on the first week of October 2026.

WORK SCHEDULE:

Tuesday to Saturday, 5 days a week, evening shift.

Standard 8-hour shift, exclusive of a 1-hour unpaid meal break. Exact shift times are confirmed at hire.

Overtime, when required, is paid separately per the Labor Code.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

Php. 18,000 - Php. 22,000 per month, depending on experience

100% of pooled service charge distributed per RA 11360

SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG

13th month pay

Service Incentive Leave after 1 year of service

Overtime, holiday, and night differential pay per the Labor Code, where applicable

Staff meals and uniforms

GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES:

Path to regularization after a 180-day probationary period, with monthly performance reviews.

Opportunity to take on lead responsibilities, such as shift oversight and training, as the team grows, with a corresponding compensation review.

Direct mentorship from ownership and the General Manager during the opening period.
