Server Assistant - Busser

Reports To: Restaurant Supervisor / Restaurant Manager

Position Summary

Koosh Collection is looking for a motivated, dependable, and service-oriented Busser to join our Food & Beverage team. The Busser plays an important role in creating an excellent guest experience by maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment.

The ideal candidate is a team player who works efficiently, pays attention to detail, and enjoys working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Clear plates, glasses, silverware, and other items from tables promptly and professionally.
• Clean and sanitize tables and reset them according to the restaurant's service standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the dining room, service stations, and assigned areas.
• Assist servers and food runners to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Refill water and assist with basic guest requests as directed by the service team.
• Replenish silverware, napkins, glassware, and other dining supplies.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and organizing the dining area.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.
• Report any spills, broken items, maintenance issues, or guest concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
• Maintain a professional appearance and provide friendly, attentive service to guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain service standards.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry restaurant supplies and bus tubs safely.
• Ability to bend, reach, and move throughout the restaurant during service.
• Ability to perform physical duties associated with restaurant operations, with or without reasonable accommodation.
