Responsibilities

• Assist servers by bussing tables promptly and efficiently, ensuring a clean and inviting dining area for guests.
• Support food running duties by delivering dishes from the kitchen to tables accurately and swiftly.
• Maintain cleanliness through regular cleaning of dining surfaces, utensils, and service stations in accordance with food safety standards.
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, equipment, or trash using safe lifting practices.
• Support food preparation activities in the kitchen as needed, including basic food handling and setup.
• Manage in-person customer service interactions with professionalism, friendliness, and clear communication.
• Operate POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS to assist with order processing when required.
• Uphold food safety protocols by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist with general restaurant upkeep including stocking supplies and ensuring a tidy environment for both staff and guests.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
• Familiarity with food handling, basic food preparation, and restaurant operations enhances your ability to succeed in this role.
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus but training will be provided.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly attitude are essential for delivering excellent guest services.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and safe lifting practices.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and culinary procedures is beneficial for supporting kitchen operations.
