Duties

• Assist servers by delivering food and beverages promptly using POS (Point of Sale) systems like Micros POS to ensure accurate orders and efficient service
• Clear tables efficiently by bussing dishes, glassware, and silverware while maintaining cleanliness and organization
• Support the kitchen team with food handling, basic food preparation, and ensuring adherence to food safety standards
• Perform cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, sanitizing surfaces, and maintaining overall restaurant cleanliness
• Handle manual lifting and heavy lifting tasks safely when moving supplies, equipment, or large trays of food or dishes
• Support in food running duties by delivering orders from the kitchen to guests quickly and accurately
• Maintain excellent in-person customer service by greeting guests warmly and addressing their needs promptly and professionally
• Follow safe lifting practices during all manual handling tasks to prevent injury and ensure team safety
• Assist with banquet or special event setups as needed, supporting hospitality efforts for larger groups

Experience

• Prior food service experience in a restaurant environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
• Experience with food handling, food safety protocols, and basic food preparation is advantageous
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms enhances efficiency in order processing
• Previous banquet or catering experience can be a plus for supporting larger events
• Strong communication skills are essential for coordinating with team members and providing excellent guest services
• Experience in hospitality or customer service roles demonstrates your ability to create positive guest interactions
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for long periods, heavy lifting, and manual handling safely
