Responsibilities

• Assist servers by delivering food and beverages promptly to guests, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
• Maintain cleanliness in all dining areas, including clearing tables, bussing dishes, and resetting tables efficiently.
• Support food running duties by transporting dishes from the kitchen to the dining area using safe lifting practices and proper manual handling techniques.
• Help with food preparation tasks as needed, including setting up stations and restocking supplies to ensure seamless service.
• Uphold food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols at all times.
• Provide in-person customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and addressing any special requests or concerns.
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to assist with order processing and billing when required.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; a passion for hospitality is key!
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices, including lifting trays, boxes, or supplies.
• Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and interact positively with guests.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and food handling procedures to ensure a clean and safe environment.
• Experience with food running, serving, bussing, or banquet service is a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in order processing.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail and guest satisfaction.
