Server Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server Assistant to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our servers and ensuring that guests have an exceptional dining experience. This position requires physicality, stamina, strong communication skills, a passion for customer service, the ability to follow directions and self-direct, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist servers in delivering food and beverages to guests promptly and accurately.
• Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
• Reset the dining room floor.
• Rolling silverware and restocking service areas.
• Running food or beverages, when asked of you.
• Provide excellent guest services by addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
• Participate in banquet service as required, assisting with setup and breakdown of events.
• Uphold high standards of hospitality by maintaining a friendly demeanor with all guests.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
• Experience with POS systems (Toast) is a plus.
• Background in culinary, hotel, or banquet service is advantageous.
