Duties

• Assist servers by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and resetting for new guests to maintain a clean and inviting dining area
• Support food running duties by delivering dishes from the kitchen to guests efficiently and accurately
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, trays, or equipment following safe lifting practices
• Ensure proper food handling and safety standards are upheld during all stages of service and preparation
• Maintain cleanliness through regular cleaning duties including sweeping, wiping surfaces, and sanitizing high-touch areas
• Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks when needed, adhering to food safety guidelines
• Provide in-person customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about the menu, and assisting with special requests

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including banquet or hotel settings
• Strong knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and proper cleaning procedures
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining good manual handling techniques
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests
• Experience with food running, serving, and guest services in a fast-paced hospitality environment
• Knowledge of culinary practices or kitchen experience is a plus but not required
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team while managing multiple responsibilities efficiently
