Server Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assist servers by delivering food and beverages promptly and accurately to enhance guest satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including clearing tables, resetting for new guests, and sanitizing surfaces according to food safety standards
• Manage side station duties such as stocking supplies, organizing utensils, and ensuring all necessary items are readily available for service
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) system to assist with guest orders and payments when needed
• Uphold food safety protocols by following proper handling procedures and maintaining a clean work environment
• Provide excellent guest services by responding promptly to guest requests and ensuring their needs are met with a friendly attitude

Experience

• Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and positively with guests and team members
• Experience in food preparation, serving, cashiering, or barista roles is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar technology is beneficial
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is advantageous
• Experience working in hospitality environments like hotels or restaurants enhances your ability to excel in this role
• Ability to stand for extended periods, work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and maintain a positive attitude throughout shifts

Pay: $17.60 per hour
