Duties

• Assist servers by bussing tables promptly, clearing dishes, and resetting tables efficiently to maintain a clean dining area
• Support food running duties by delivering orders accurately from the kitchen to guests’ tables while adhering to food safety standards
• Help with cleaning duties including wiping down surfaces, sanitizing utensils, and maintaining cleanliness in all service areas
• Handle manual lifting of heavy trays, boxes, or supplies using safe lifting practices to ensure safety for yourself and colleagues
• Support kitchen staff with basic food handling and preparation tasks as needed to ensure timely service
• Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to assist with order entry and payment processing when required
• Provide in-person customer service by greeting guests warmly, responding to their needs promptly, and ensuring a positive dining experience

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience or restaurant background is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is essential
• Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and consistently follow safe lifting practices
• Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and guest interactions
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Familiarity with banquet service or large event setups is advantageous but not mandatory
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude and a focus on guest satisfaction
