Server Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Server Assistant to join our team in a fast-paced dining environment. As a Server Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an exceptional dining experience. You will assist the waitstaff by maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area, supporting the kitchen staff, and providing excellent customer service. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in hospitality and enjoy working as part of a team. Note: this is not a temporary seasonal job. Great opportunity to grow as a Server.

Duties

• Clear and clean tables promptly after guests finish their meals to prepare for new customers.
• Assist waitstaff by refilling drinks, providing utensils, and delivering food orders as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sweeping, mopping, and organizing dining supplies.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
• Provide exceptional customer service by being attentive to guests' needs and responding promptly to requests.
• Support overall restaurant operations by assisting with various tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality preferred.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help others, contributing to a collaborative team atmosphere.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform tasks that require lifting and moving items as needed.
