Server Assistant

Amasa Mexican Kitchen is currently looking for a Server Assistant/Food Runner to come join our fun and dynamic team. If you have the right personality and work ethic we would love to have you as a team member. Availability to work both weekdays and weekends is required. Evening and holiday availability is preferred.

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and efficiently, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and service staff.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner.

• Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.

• Communicate effectively with cooks and servers to ensure accurate order delivery.

• Help set up and break down banquet events as needed.

• Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times.

• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs and inquiries.

• Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain a smooth flow of service during busy periods.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or banquet setting is preferred.

• Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is essential.

• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests.

• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• A passion for hospitality and providing outstanding guest experiences.

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
