Server Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assist servers by bussing tables promptly, clearing dishes, and resetting tables efficiently to maintain a clean dining area.
• Support food running duties by delivering orders from the kitchen to guests accurately and swiftly.
• Maintain cleanliness standards through regular cleaning of dining surfaces, floors, and service stations in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, dishes, and equipment using safe lifting practices to ensure safety for yourself and colleagues.
• Support food preparation activities when needed, including organizing supplies and assisting with basic kitchen tasks under supervision.
• Ensure guest satisfaction by providing friendly in-person customer service, addressing guest needs courteously, and communicating effectively with team members.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is essential.
• Familiarity with food handling procedures, sanitation standards, and food safety practices is advantageous.
• Experience with banquet service or large-scale events can be a plus but is not mandatory.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team are vital for success in this role.
• Physical ability to perform tasks involving manual handling, heavy lifting, and prolonged standing throughout shifts.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
