Server Assistant

Duties

• Assist servers by bussing tables promptly, clearing dishes, and resetting tables to maintain a clean and inviting dining area
• Support food running tasks by delivering orders accurately and efficiently from the kitchen to guests’ tables
• Maintain cleanliness across all areas, including dining spaces, service stations, and kitchen zones, adhering to food safety standards
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, dishes, and equipment using safe lifting practices
• Support food preparation and handling in accordance with food safety regulations to ensure quality and hygiene standards are met
• Provide in-person customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring guest needs are met promptly
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems like Micros POS confidently for order processing and billing while maintaining accurate transaction records
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and address guest requests efficiently

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members
• Knowledge of food handling procedures, food safety standards, and basic food preparation techniques
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and efficiently
• Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism
• A genuine passion for providing excellent guest services in a hospitality environment

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
