Responsibilities

• Assist servers by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and resetting tables efficiently to maintain a clean and inviting dining area
• Support food running duties by delivering prepared dishes from the kitchen to guests promptly and accurately
• Maintain cleanliness in all food service areas, including dining rooms, kitchens, and storage spaces, following food safety standards
• Handle manual lifting and heavy lifting safely when moving supplies, equipment, or food items to prevent injuries
• Support food preparation tasks as needed, including basic plating or garnishing under supervision
• Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to uphold hygiene standards and comply with health regulations
• Use POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order entry and processing when required
• Communicate effectively with team members and guests to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction
• Assist with banquet or special event setups by providing timely support for large groups or private functions

Skills

• Proven experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments emphasizing guest interaction
• Knowledge of food handling safety practices and food safety regulations
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting with safe lifting practices
• Experience with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred
• Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and interact positively with guests
• Previous experience supporting kitchen operations or banquet services is advantageous
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Familiarity with cleaning protocols, bussing procedures, and in-person guest services
