Valle by Chef Roberto Alcocer is seeking passionate hospitality professionals who are committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences. As a Server Assistant, you are an integral member of our front-of-house team, supporting seamless service in a fine dining environment where precision, anticipation, and genuine hospitality define every interaction.

This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, luxury dining environments and take pride in the details that transform a meal into a memorable experience. Working alongside an accomplished culinary and service team, you’ll develop your fine dining expertise while contributing to one of Southern California’s premier restaurant experiences.

The hourly rate for this position is $18.50/hr + tips

Key Responsibilities:

• Support servers throughout each stage of service to ensure a polished, seamless dining experience.
• Anticipate guest and team needs, providing proactive support before requests arise.
• Deliver food and beverages with professionalism, confidence, and detailed menu knowledge.
• Prepare, maintain, and reset tables to Michelin-level service standards.
• Maintain immaculate dining rooms, service stations, and side work throughout service.
• Assist with table maintenance, clearing, resetting, and polishing while preserving the flow of the dining room.
• Roll silverware, polish glassware, and prepare non-alcoholic beverages to restaurant standards.
• Communicate effectively with culinary and front-of-house teams to ensure accurate, timely service.
• Demonstrate a commitment to cleanliness, organization, food safety, and operational excellence.
• Uphold Valle’s culture of professionalism, teamwork, and warm, genuine hospitality.

Qualifications:

· Experience in Michelin-starred, Forbes-rated, luxury hotel, or upscale dining establishments is preferred.

· Wine knowledge or a willingness to learn is highly valued.

· Demonstrates a genuine passion for hospitality, food, and beverage.

· Maintains a sense of urgency without compromising attention to detail.

· Consistently exhibits professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitude.

· Seeks feedback and continuously strives to improve.

· At least two years of experience in upscale, high-volume, or fine dining restaurants.

· Passion for hospitality and a desire to build a career in luxury dining.

· Ability to anticipate guest needs and maintain composure under pressure.

· Strong communication and teamwork skills.

· Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to excellence.

· Professional appearance and polished demeanor. Must adhere to strict grooming standards: clean shaven, hair tight, uniform pressed, dress shoes and minimal jewelry.

· Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weight throughout the shift.

· Open availability from 2PM-1AM Tuesday through Saturday is required, including evenings and holidays. Friday and Saturday availability is a must.
