Server Assistant(AM and PM openings)

Duties

• Assist servers by bussing tables promptly and efficiently, ensuring a clean and inviting dining area.
• Support food running duties by delivering dishes accurately and swiftly from the kitchen to guests’ tables.
• Maintain cleanliness standards through regular cleaning of dining areas, including clearing plates, wiping surfaces, and resetting tables for new guests.
• Handle food safety and food handling responsibilities in accordance with health regulations to ensure guest safety.
• Use POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders and payments accurately.
• Assist with manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of trays, boxes, or supplies following safe lifting practices.
• Communicate effectively with team members and guests to provide exceptional in-person customer service and guest support.

Requirements

• Previous food service experience or restaurant background preferred; familiarity with food handling and safety standards is a plus.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining safe lifting practices.
• Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
• Knowledge of food safety protocols and basic food preparation techniques preferred.
• Experience in banquet settings or large-scale hospitality environments is a bonus.
• Availability for both morning (AM) and evening (PM) shifts; flexibility is appreciated.
