Server Assistant(Costa Pacifica)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and energetic Server Assistant to support the front-of-house team and ensure guests receive prompt, attentive service. The Server Assistant helps servers maintain clean tables, deliver food and beverages, and keep the dining area organized and running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and enjoys teamwork.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist servers with delivering food and beverages to guests in a timely manner.
• Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently between guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, service stations, and work areas.
• Refill water, bread, condiments, and other table items as needed.
• Remove used dishes, glassware, and trash from tables and dining areas.
• Support servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Assist with opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned.
• Help maintain cleanliness standards in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Respond promptly to guest or team member needs.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment preferred but not required.
• Valid Texas Food Handler Certificate required (or ability to obtain prior to first shift, if applicable).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30–40 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Work Environment
