SERVER ASSMBLER

About the role

This role involves assembling servers and installing components such as motherboards, processors, memory modules, storage devices, power supplies, cables and cooling systems. You will follow approved work instructions, assembly drawings and technical specifications, verify part numbers and component quantities, perform visual inspections and functional checks, and ensure completed units meet workmanship, quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble servers and install components such as motherboards, processors, memory modules, storage devices, power supplies, cables and cooling systems
• Follow approved work instructions, assembly drawings and technical specifications
• Verify part numbers, component quantities and hardware compatibility before assembly
• Perform visual inspections, basic hardware configuration and functional checks
• Identify and report defective, damaged, incorrect or missing components
• Support basic troubleshooting, rework and corrective activities
• Ensure completed units meet workmanship, quality and safety standards
• Maintain accurate production, assembly and inspection records
• Follow ESD, workplace safety and clean-workstation requirements
• Achieve daily production targets without compromising product quality

About you

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics or a related technical field
• Able to communicate in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking technical personnel and understand technical instructions
• Able to read and follow work instructions, assembly diagrams and technical specifications
• Good attention to detail with a careful and systematic working attitude
• Willing to work in a production environment and perform overtime when required
• Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, server components or electronic assembly is preferred
• Basic hardware troubleshooting skills are an advantage
