Duties

• Prepare ingredients through slicing, dicing, and portioning according to recipes and standards
• Cook menu items efficiently while adhering to food safety and quality standards
• Operate kitchen equipment safely, including ovens, fryers, mixers, and slicers
• Follow recipe instructions precisely to ensure consistency in meal preparation
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts
• Assist with meal plating and presentation to meet restaurant standards
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and service flow

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant kitchens, or dietary departments is highly preferred
• Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
• Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques and food prep methods
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Familiarity with operating various kitchen equipment safely and effectively
• Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal preparation processes
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with kitchen team members
